It's been a mild winter here until last weekend- and then we got a foot of snow.

Keeping the local humming birds happy with fresh nectar warmed to 38 degrees by a short piece of heat tape.

Thanks!!

Circa 1974 JBL 10" driver in serious need of repair... Big brother's old favorite speakers.
The foam surround is gone of course, I think the voice coil is toast in one as well.
Simply speakers has a repair kit with everything I need to get em thumping again.
Likely to break then in on some Moody Blues Days of Future Past, much like he did!

I remember sitting in his living room and being astounded at what a good stereo sounds like.

A few from last weekend

Snow started very cold and dry, it was filtering through the gaps in the deck boards

That stopped as more and more fell

Street grate rib cage

Snowshoe weather right here in the hood

A non native tree

Lost power a few time last night and this morning due to ice. Nothing like the folks in the plains, but:

I snapped a pic before I left last Mon since I thought this would be a very rare look for the old place.

My son has a titanium rod just like in the xray. I had to do a double take but his break was lower in the leg.

I've got this from my dad's baseball card collection. Worth a few bucks now...
