Understand this coming week is going to be the worst yet for Covid19 infections.

Sure hope I disinfected the stuff I brought in my home well enough!

Jim, you putting in an outlet for a heated bidet seat?

Found an installation video for one that you run a hot water line from the bathroom sink and put a tee on the toilet water line. It had a knob to set the temp. Don't think my hot runs hot fast enough so like the idea of a heated bidet water reserve. I also like that the heated reserve thing also had a fan to help dry. And gets it's air outside the toilet bowl. Always flush with the lid down and always sit to relieve myself to keep the surroundings as splashfree as possible.

Have got ground fault electrical on the sink side if the shared wall between the sink and toilet. Should be easy to put an extra socket on the toilet wall.

Just don't trust myself well enough to do it myself. Replaced my ceiling air filters and almost fell going up and down a ladder to do it. If the returns weren't in hallways i would have fallen instead of knocking pictures down. Don't think the filters are merv enough, merv 8. Have had a runny nose since changing them. Especially right after the heat/ac fan comes on. Ordered some merv 13 filters. Found they don't make the charcoal filters over merv 8.

Richard, water and air for the bidet seat are both heated electrically. The remote control lets you program the temperatures. The bidet seat just tees into the cold water line that feeds the toilet tank.

Neato. That sounds like the one I want one like!

The one i saw an installation of she jumped and squealed when she first tried to use it. Figured it was mostly cause she got an initial shot of cold water. And it did not electroicity tp warm anything or blow air.

Not sure what my toilet is hooked up to water wise, the shower goes cold when you flush the toilet. But the tank on the toilet is cold when it fills.

Nephew's home is plumbed so the hot water recirculates a small amount back to the hot water tank and is instantly hot at the faucets. it keeps the hot water lines full of hot water.
Says it works better than those instant on electric heater things in each area that he put in his last house.

We were craving some pizza last night so I went out as a hunter gather to the local All American Pizza a couple of miles away. Since I ordered it on the phone my hunting and gathering skills were 100% that night, just like all other food runs. I had to drive past the local Starbucks and at 5:30 at night the line to get into the drive through was blocking traffic on one lane. It had to be a 30 minute wait to get the cup of really bad really overpriced coffee. I simply can't fathom waiting in a drive through that long just to pay a lot for bad coffee. It is like someone getting facial tattoos and implants to make horns. My mind can't understand. As long as they are using their own money, I have no issues whatsoever over it. I simply can't wrap my brain around it.

Morning all. Yet another week from the dining room. The only thing I get ay Starbucks is their iced tea. I have never met a cup of coffee I liked enough to finish.

Starbucks is closing at 7pm. Probably why there is more traffic. I like to get a mocha frappachino with exta pumps of chocolate every once in a while. It is more like a chocolate/coffee shake.

I had heard of Starbucks, but I had never tasted it until 2006 in Portland, OR at Porsche Parade. The hospitality room always has free coffee and some form or danish or muffins. So I walked up the the big urn of coffee and filled up the standard paper coffee cup. I took one sip and almost did a spit take. It took all my will power to just spit it back in the cup. It tasted like it was burned badly and just horrid. I walked to the trash can to toss it in the trash and the can was 1/2 full of cups of coffee with lots of coffee in them. I had to get in my car and drive to the Burger King 1/4 mile away to get some decent coffee.

At the Concours they had free coffee and I figured someone had just really screwed up in brewing that last batch. Same result, only I did end up spitting out that nasty burned coffee. Later I learned the nickname is Charbucks. I presume they burn the hell out of it to get you to want to add cream or sugar and make a zero calorie beverage fattening.

I ended up going to a local grocery store to buy some Folgers coffee packs and used the room coffee maker to make decent coffee.

I drink coffee, black. No frappichino, cappuccino, or other forms of coffee. I have never even tried it sweetened or with milk or cream. I drink tea straight up, no sweetener. And it is NOT "un-sweetned" tea! That would imply it was sweet to start with and the sweetness was removed. It is just tea.

Rant over!

I understand that ^ as well as I understand waiting in line at Starbucks for overpriced coffee. It is still a free country so I have no issues with it.

Starbucks’ coffee is rubbish. It’s the last place I’d wait in a line for coffee.

That pic has to be photoshopped. It just has to.

We’re getting soaked here in SoCal. I think it’ll help a bit with the social distancing thing. And my yard likes it, too.

We are supposed to get scattered thunderstorms today.

Thinking of getting the kids each one of those plastic kayaks they sell at Farm and Fleet or Theisen's. Any as good as the other in those price ranges? $150-$200.

Take it easy Richard.

They finished the solar install yesterday arvo, so today is our first full day. It’s cloudy, midday and we’re smashing it!
