It's OK. She's a little disappointed, too. We still do the "Hey, do you smell popcorn?" trick after you fart, so that everyone around you instinctively takes a whiff.

Awhile back, when the kids were littler, we also invented Force Tickle. Like Darth Vader strangling someone without direct physical contact, it's when you pretend to tickle someone, without really touching them. Your hands are close enough that their anticipation makes them start laughing as if you're actually doing the deed. Only works (reliably) on the kindergartner, now. Sometimes on the 8th grader, too, but not as effective as in years past.

How many farticles in a shart?
Is it a shart when farticles are dense enough to leave a skid mark?
If so, does the density matter if the undergarment is cotton, silk, or nylon?

You can get underwear with charcoal filter patch to catch farticles i.e. the odorous emanations of flatulence.

You know how you can make a whistle with a blade of grass between your palms?
Could you make a string bikini that the string works like a blade of grass and whistles!

Morning all.

We keep a small sealed up bin of dog food in the laundry room. When that bin runs out I take it to the garage and grab the main supply bin off the shelf to fill up the small bin. The dogs are of course very interested, and like to "help" with any spill cleanup. Our female dog likes to play finicky in the morning, except when there is "fresh food" available. It is special in her mind to get some of the food right from the big bag as I pour it into the tub. The male figured it out and will bury his long nose up to his eyes and grab a big mouthful. The portions are adjusted down to compensate for the gluttony during the pour of food. She is right there to put her head down and eat her food with no hesitation.
Normally she will beg her mama to get out of bed to feed her. Mrs Carrera has to get up, and they have a routine of trying to get the little princess to start eating. I don't play that game. Eat the food or don't I don't care one way or the other. In the evenings for the feed, the female knows I don't do the hand feeding and baby talking to beg her to eat. Eat or go hungry. She always puts her head down and eats all the food.

Morning all. My lab is not as discerning as long as its food get it poured in the bowl and get out of the way.

That is the way our male dachshund is. No matter what type of food, if you put it where he can get it, he will eat it all as fast as possible. We even had to by one of the feeding bowls that is called a "slow feeder" to keep him from just inhaling his food. The female like to make a production of it. Her nickname (one of many) is the little princess. She will dance around barking and want her mama to hand feed her one piece at a time for several pieces to get her going, like priming a pump. In the evenings I put the food down, and if she does not start eating,. I just put it up on a counter. When she decided eating is better than not, she puts her hard down ant eats. I don't buy into the princess routine.

My last golden, Camber ate her food sometime during the night. Put food in her bowl in the morning and it would still be there when I went to bed. Next morning, empty bowl. Either she was eating it at night or there are gnomes with pets. Or maybe she just liked day old food.

My first golden only ate after I ate. I would give her the last bite of whatever I was eating, then she would eat her dog food. However, she did not empty the bowl. If her food bowl got to where you could see the bottom, even if it was just a small spot in the middle, she would bark for more food. Put food in so you could no longer see the bottom of the bowl and she was happy. And most times wouldn't even eat any more. She just always wanted food in her bowl. She was pretty smart.

Pepper is a glutton, she will eat all of whatever I put out. Feed her when I eat. Part of preparing a meal is putting food out. She has good manners and waits until I start eating before she starts. Part of managing my blood sugar is eating at the same times every day. She helps by either waking me in the mornings, or getting my attention while I'm working. When it is time to eat, she brings me her frisbee.

In my bachelor days I had a doberman. Super smart dog. I bought the standard two dog bowl and tray that was popular then. I quickly learned water was a waste of time, she ALWAYS drank for the toilet bowl. Even if I put the lid down. She would poke her nose in, and drink. I gave up, let her use it as a water bowl, and just kept both bowls full of food. She would sometimes go two days and not eat. Then finish everything and start batting the bowl around to let me know, they are empty. She had a water bowl in the back yard that was an auto filling bowl so he always had a source.

according to the news the head of Amazon and his wife are filing for divorce. I wonder who gets Sid in the break up?

Our lab horks everything down. Our beagle will take longer the better the food is. If it is regular dog food he eats it pretty quick. If we take the juice from the meat we cook and put it on the dogfood he goes slower and savors it. Sometimes a cookie he will walk around for 10 minutes with it in his mouth like he is sucking on a hard candy. If he gets scraps after a meal he takes his time and if it is the last scrap he walks off for some alone time with it.

So, in the matter of a couple days we went from sunny and almost 50 to raining and almost 50 to windy and 13. At least all that rain wasn't the S word. It would be blowing everywhere by now.

Geez Brent, that doesn’t sound very pleasant. I hope the roads stay ice-free.

After our mini schnauzer eats, I take a wet washcloth to her face to clean up her beard. So, she’s developed the habit of eating about 95% of her food and stopping to look at me. When I notice and move to get the washcloth, she resumes eating the rest of her meal. She’s done a great job of training me.

Long ago when the internet was fresh and new the company I worked for started a web page, and then sold the idea of a web page to several companies. Hosts were expensive, so we hired an outside "expert" to administer the site, and the computer itself was in my office. We had one of the first ISDN lines in the state, and we were 200 yards from the SW Bell switch so we had great speeds until they throttled it back. We had three customers sites and our own on the computer and no one had much traffic, but all of them had email with their own domain was was new and cool.

The host computer sat right next to my main system and I came in one morning and it had the hard drive running like mad. I turned on the monitor and it was a gambling site. We had been hacked and they put up a email spammer and gambling site. I reached over and turned the power off and said out loud, hack that as5hole. The admin guy took a few days to clean it all up and put in a real firewall. This was all in the fairly early 1990s as I remember.

That was back when gamblin sites let ya gamble with real money and hosting services refused to host porn or porn sites.

Was an early ISDN user as well at work, 1990. Used a Mac software firewall called Intergate. Had some hackers try to get in to make sure if it was a good firewall setup. They said they kept getting "Service Not Available" in Klingon. They could not get past it to hack any of our public or private servers or computers. The IT department took over the internet connection and put in a Cisco Pix firewall because that is what a consultant recommended and immediate started getting viruses on the local network.
