Yea, I can’t see working for a for profit business and not get paid.

Careful, I was called in to proof something and got griped out for marking all errors on the proof up with a red pen. They asked me to proof it the 5th time it came back from the printers because they could see obvious mistakes and did not want to print it.

The printers commented that when I was managing our artwork it had the least errors on proofing they had seen. It rarely needed any updates before running the jobs.

Interesting weather. A line of thunderstorms coming up 1-44 from Lawton. Severe storms are expected on and off all day. Monday is the day we expect real exciting weather.

It was May when that big tornado that hit Moore came up I-44 from Lawton. They are likely a bit concerned.

Why do you Okies let thunderstorms and tornadoes travel on your Interstates?

I just checked the weather map and it looks like Brent’s area is getting hit by some storms. Here it’s still nice outside, but in the early morning we’re expecting some more rain.

We ended up with just over 2.8 inches of rain today. And the storms seem to love to go up I-44. And that is mostly a turnpike and I bet the storms just take a toll and never pay the toll.

It is comical how the national news sensationalizes so much. I saw one report the other night that said most of the town of Geronimo, OK was destroyed. It was two building, Two. The entire town is tiny, lass than 3/4 of a square mile total. The guy that lost a barn and a trailer home is really upset, but no one was hurt.

Today according to the national news we all gonna die, well almost. It does indeed look like a good day to stay home and keep my cars in the garages, and be weather aware. I have the rechargeable flashlights charged, and the rest are ready. Cell phone ready and charged. Most of the schools are closed. We need to infer more fear to school kids, I guess. The last really bad day was 72 tornadoes in one day with Moore, OK taking a bad hit, and many people died, but it still only affected a tiny portion of town. That portion was screwed up, but civilization continued just a few hundred feet away. Floods kill tons more people and do more damage, and cripple entire cities. Yet no one has the weird fear of a flood.

Yea, flooding in some places is very likely to be the worst damage. Glad I live on top of a hill.

Used to have to worry about water collecting along the front of the house and if it rained enough started filling my hvac ducts under the slab. have since re-landscaped the front yard so that water now goes down the street.

Just got a notice that flights are being canceled at Will Rogers International Airport due to weather threat.

We had some thunderstorms, but just the normal loud variety. Our gauge says just under an inch of rain. 60* today, 52* Tuesday and 80* Wednesday. More storms as well, but nothing major.

Mom had a tree frog making too much noise so dad and Jacob went out to find it. Jacob thought it was too cute so he talked Mrs. Flipper into keeping it. We had a Betta aquarium that they put it in. Two days later, it escaped so we have a tree frog loose somewhere. Funny thing is, he doesn't make any noise now for us to find the little squirt where he did in the aquarium.

Our "horny" toad is singing once again. Two round of tadpoles, and now he wants three! The pond has plenty of alga to feed a swarm of them so that is no problem, but the Koi may get fat and a few tadpoles will for sure grow enough to hop out of the pond. We have a few little fingernail size toads each year.

It is only 69 but humidity is 96%. Gonna be an exciting afternoon.

My main computer has been churning on a project for a week straight, and will be several hours if not an entire day more before it gets to a place that it will actually be safe to shut it down, and not lose a week of processing. If the power goes out I will run the batter backup until it quits providing power. That is just an hour at most with the CPU and fans running hard.

More of the nudes on the boat photos! At least they are not smoking, and anorexic!
