Yea, one of the programs we have used, and still do use in on a month by month basis just has a "fuser" model. With lots of RAM and a fast CPU, it will split the tasks into several fusers, and them any computer on the network with a fuser node installed can pile on. It just cost more money for each fuser. We had a client that wanted 3D data done in a very short time frame. We just had the company that sells the program run the project, and they can just throw a few hundred fusers on the project and pump it out in short order for a large hunk of cash. Our client paid them directly, and we just got the flying part of it.

My current program uses the video cards GPU for a lot of the work. It wants lots of CUDA cores. My two cards work together to give it lots of CUDA cores, and I have lots of RAM memory and the hard drives ar the M.2 drives and just a SSD plugged directly to the motherboard bus.

Most of our good projects are just an Orthophoto, with a parametric and TOPO map overlay and the 3D image is not needed.

We had our storm Sunday but it hasnt warmed up since. Might get into the 70s later this week. Daughter graduates from Southwest Tech Saturday. Has a new job Monday. She also is in the running for a new job at the local university which would be great for her tuition for her BA.

Ideal weather for MIL’s gardening. Overcast and high 60s.

This was the light load we hauled and put in at the MIL's garden.

The Heavy part was the four curved concrete edging pieces, and four 90 degree corners, as well as two straight parts. Those went to my wife's nephew. I guess that makes him my nephew as well. Anyway those are no long in my way in our storage building, and gone baby gone from my life.

The 4 bags of rubber mulch went into the area at my MIL's house, and the rubber edging as well. The tub had lots of miscellaneous tools and some plants for the MIL. The empty tub, the shovel, and the brace bar is all that came back home.

Tomorrow is hopefully edge, weed eat, and mow time. It is still 68% humidity, so the grass is still wet, and likely lots of dew in the morning. So maybe by lunch time I can get er done. I will be glad when the boss lets me do more aerial photography projects and I am done with the manual labor stuff.

Gee I wish we could get the humidity a little higher. I might be able to grow gills. It was 98% this morning, and everything was covered in dew. That meant wait for the grass to dry a bit. Finally just after noon, I went into mow mode. The humidity was "only" 71% and dropped to 68% when I was done. It is only 78 degrees now but the humidity is nucking futz.

The grass was way way overdue for mowing, but it has been just too wet. I picked up three bags of grass. A lot of it went into the compost, but it is now full, so some goes to the landfill.

The yard looks a ton better, and the after mowing beer was really perfect. Look out and see pretty green and even lawn. With the week of rain everything is GREEN.

On the trip to Enid and back we saw a lot of farmer-ranchers with a 1/4 section or more of grass, and cattle out just eating until they are stuffed. It has to be cattle heaven. All the food you can possible eat, no predators, and nothing to do but eat their fill and hang out with other cattle. There were endless miles of green grass and wheat just starting to begin to turn amber with grain.

Looks like I get to take the long way home. A semi is currently blocking the main road. Seems he tried to up the steep hill and turn left. He must have missed the sign that says no trucks.

So you had a choice to go the long way or not!

We have another two rainy days on tap. A nice weekend, and then a lot of rain next week. May is our rainiest month, and this year it really is raining. I am sure glad the yard is mowed. The master gardener is urging me to fertilize the yard. I am rally wanting to put that off until I return from Parade. It will go nuts growing and require mowing every 5 days for awhile after fertilizer. I hire a neighbor kid to mow while I am gone, but I don;t want him to do it twice if I can avoid that.

I hate grass so much I pay to have it butchered every two weeks and refuse deal with it.

My neighbor is that way. he has a lawn crew show up regularly and fertilize it to make it grow like mad and then they need to mow regularly, the spray for weeds, and in the fall come clean up the leaves. His yard looks nice.

I am just cheap, and prefer to waste money on my hobbies and beer and driving to Parade. I really need the exercise of mowing and taking care of the yard.

The El Camino is due for it's 380,000 mile oil and filter change. I may even splurge and throw in some new spark plugs. They have been in there for a long time. I can't remember the last time I changed them, and I will have to flip through the maintenance book volume two to find out when I last changed them. It is a pretty easy job, certainly easier than the 911 plugs even with two extra plugs to change.

For the 911 I have to remove the air filter, and getting the 3.2's air filter back in place is a real challenge for me. I don't have Popeye arms, but I have to lube my arms with soapy water to cram my arm in far enough to get the back clips back in place.

My allergies are so bad over grass that I'd rather just pay to have it mowed. Funny thing is that I changed irrigation pipes as a teen and never got any better. My eyes swelled shut once and I barely made it home across the road.

I used to have have horrible allergies as a kid. I took allergy shots for 20+ years and my allergies are now just 1% of what they were.

As a teenager, I was on high doses of antihistamines and back then they were all just sleeping pills.
