It was pretty good. Especially to wash down a banana chocolate crepe.

Good Morning.

In know it's 1:30pm here, but just woke up from the new nerve pain killers. The Doc told me the sharp stabbing pains in my foot are because the new nerves don't know what to do yet. This nerve stuff makes me very loopy, dizzy and then knock me out. But it does stop the stabbing pain so I can sleep.

Cloggie...

I think you will find the posters here are from all over even though a few do happen to live close. At only 1/2 miles from each other Glen and i are the closest. We also have a wide range of occupations represented, Students, Doctors, Nurses, Lawyers, Master Mechanics, IT Computer Geeks, Salesmen, Engineers, and even a Photographic Cartographer. The main thing that ties us all together is our cars and the love of them. Most even have Porsches. The only requirement I know of is you must post a picture of yourself so everyone has an idea of the face that goes with the posts.

The other southern California posters (other than Jim when he is on vacation) have left (heck, I left for a while too), so don't feel bad that you are the only European here at the moment.

Well, the neighbors landscaper turned out to be a Lying Sack of Dirt. Told me for allowing access with his Bobcat to the neighbors yard to carry in big rocks he would use it to terrace my yard for me and fill in any ruts with new sod and "leave it looking better than before he started." All he did was fill the ruts with loose dirt. If I hadn't agreed to let him use my yard for access to my back neighbor's yard he would have had to rent a crane to get the big rocks in and lift them over her house.

I'm a pretty nice guy and would have allowed them access if they just promised to fill in any ruts and repair any damage done. Just pissed me off get me all excited promising to do something extra and then not do it, the Tease. Feel like i got robbed of my happy ending.

We're also well represented by those fun loving Aussies!

We just got back from NC, after looking at an E30 318is. It was less than the seller represented, and our thoughts on what it should sell for were simply too far apart. Well, at least we got out of DC for a good chunk of the day.

I have been trying to upload this photo from my iPhone but Tapatalk had a recent upgrade that sucks. It will not upload the file so I will email it to myself, log in with web mail on my laptop and do it that way.

All my life I heard how big lake Michigan is. It is a lie. Look I can see the other side! What a rip off!

Yawn!

Morning all.

G'day Cloggie.

There's a primary school about 200 meters from where I live. It appears that the school bell has broken (or whoever broke into it last night has pressed the switch). It's been ringing for a while now. I could barely hear it from my bedroom but I'll bet those people across the street from the school are pi55ed off.

Did we have a weekend? It didn't seem long enough...

have you called the contractor to ask him when he is going to terrace and sod your yard? that would make me pretty annoyed.

Welp, off to the Hawaiian themed Welcome party. We get to ride a shuttle from our hotel to the main hotel. That mean I don't have to drive. That means I get more beer!

I am enjoying some Fat Tire New Blegium beer in the hotel room. I have a 12 pack to work on. This vacation stuff is great.

This is the view from our room. It is on the 8th floor.

The big building on the horizon is the Parade Hotel. We are at the overflow hotel. On Wednesday we get to move to that hotel.

The cones in the foreground are for the drive an compare event by Michelin. Tomorrow morning I will drive both of these.

One on sticky autocross rubber one on regular tires. It is a sacrifice I am doing for you so I can report back to you.

Evening all,

Glen, I am so jealous, you look to be having a ball, hope you didn't get too much of a hangover from last night and had all the faculties for driving today. How did you go, are the cones safe?

Cloggie, we always like visitors, but a photo please, we like to see who we are talking to. Every now and again us ladies get around to posting a picture of good looking guys, so there is also eye candy for the missus!

That photo out the window Glen, was someone cheating and doing a few rounds of the cones ?

Had a great day at Budds Creek, the friends boy didn't qualify for the big boys races but he did do 3 races and we had a good time yelling and hollering at him and the rest. Glad my boys who do dirt bike back home in OZ, didn't want to do moto X, that was scary.

Went back to the RVs (I want one) and had a cookup, with everyone, and they even had a kids blow up pool full of water and we were all sitting around with our feet in ti keepin g cool and partaking of the occassional soda (sic)! I only had one beer all day, but drank soda and water by the gallon, to keep hydrated, it was very hot and dusty out there yesterday.

Got home not too late and straight into the shower to get rid of the dust and grime. Great day.

I must say that some of todays youngins need to learn some manners, yesterday a group of about 15 young people decided to set up next to us in the pathway of the spectators hill we were sitting on. We had got there at 7am to get a large area under the trees with a view of almost all of the track. There was a wide pathway, very gravelly but the pathway non the less, and a steady stream of people going up and down, well this group of wankers decided to just stand and take up residence in the pathway, it then forced everyone that was going up and down the hill, which was the major pathway for the rest of our side of the track complex, to walk through us, we had to keep standing up and getting out of the way of the pedestrians. Effing little asseholes. Anyway, after about 30 minutes I went over and politely asked them to move on as they were blocking the pathway, they said they liked the view and weren't going anywhere. I asked them nicely again to reconsider, but they wouldn't move on. Husband told me I should sit down and just live with it. I didn't swear, I was very polite, but was completely told to **** off. Anyway, I decided that it wasn't worth getting my head punched in over, so I let it slide, about 2 hours later, there was another altercation with one of the young "ladies" with one of our group, she told a friend to "go suck her d*ck", nice girl I must say, and if she had one, she would be worth a fortune, anyway, husbands started stepping in then, so the young crowd moved away about 20 feet a bit futher up the hill. It was a very unpleasant experience to an otherwise lovely day. I just don't see why the young people of today have to be so me me me.

My rant for today.

Today is a lazy day.

It's sad to run across people like that, Azzy. Karma will catch up to them, while they're too self-absorbed to see it coming.
