wow really, playing NFL is harmful to your health, rrrreeeeaaaalllly!

As if they couldn't work that out themselves, anybody weighing 300lbs wearing a solid helmet hitting you in the head is going to do something. You don't have to be a brain surgeon to work that out.

Jeez

Okay Jeff you can go sit in the corner, Mum.

Hubby works with Navy Wankers (Pusses) and they are always talking 5hit, and dribbles of colloquial slang, very funny, and if you get them out on the p155 they are really a funny bunch to be with.

One more day of all out crazy w*** and I get to take a few days off!!!!! Hallelujah, my season is done! Looks like final numbers will be about halfway between what I did last year and what I wanted to do this year....guess I can't complain, it's still a nice chunk of change to pay for all the toys I keep finding...

Oh yeah, decided to go ahead and give a whack at cutting the free float tube down rather than buying a new shorter one....chopped it down with the angle grinder and a wood block vise then took a flap wheel to smooth it a bit, sanded the whole rail down and epoxy painted it.....It's not the purdiest, but I'm fairly satisfied and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a 7" troy or YHM free float...

Glen, what mods can you make to your can and still be in the stock class, i.e., cams, chips, exhaust, suspension?

The modifications are not very restrictive at all. My class in PCA is still the Production class. There is no stock class or lower performance class for a 80s Carrera. They will soon kill off the Show Room Stock class for even the 964 and 993s. I have always been stuck in the production class.

The suspension on my car is stock except the bushings have all been replaced with new Elephant Racing OEM style rubber bushings. I have the turbo style tie rods and new ball joints and rebuilt the steering rack. My suspension is done to the limits I want to go.

I did replace the old Boge shocks and went to the Bilstien HD shocks but that was an option for my car when new and is allowed. There really is nothing I would do to the suspension since I drive it on the road. Stiffer torsion bars or stabilizer bars just make it ride harder and I don't want a harsher ride.

The brakes are totally fine for autocross and the light DE that I do. If I went club racing I would put on turbo brakes but that is just a waste of money for an autocross. I can do it with no penalty because again it was an option for my car.

Exhaust is not much of an option. With an all new very noisy exhaust I can gain a 5 or 6 HP and likely loose my heater. That is not an option I will even consider.

The only real performance improvement to my car would be summer performance tires tread wear 140 or so. My current all season tires are tread wear 300 tires and the loose nut behind the steering wheel are the big limiting factors.

The guys with mostly gutted cars with no AC or sound mats that weigh 200-300 lbs less than me have a big advantage. I will not even think about going lighter, I like the comfort. I don't want a track whore car.
