Oh yeah, forgot about the 928 GTS cam breaking and stranding me. The piece of junk.

Speaking of, has the engine made any more progress?

Our Snapon torque wrench broke last night. It has the thumb dial for the torque you want and the cap on the opposite side popped off and it wont adjust now.

The Engine is in the car, they are working on the exhaust. Gotta do some heat shield fab and make sure the clutch line isn't too close. Then fab up an x-pipe to hook the new headers up to the sport cats. Sent pictures and dimensions Monday for an x-pipe that was dyno tuned for the headers. It's not like my old full size GMC Jimmy where there is room to set up housekeeping under the hood without any problems. They say you gotta hold your mouth just right to get them headers in there. At least they aren't one of the other sets available. The have instructions to grind on the clutch housing to fit them. Not anything I would be interested in

If he has too much trouble I may have him just put the stock manifolds back on and get the darn thing running and have the dude in Dallas put the headers on. Guys are claiming 35hp across the rpm range with these headers and a little tuning. The headers combined with the 928 GT cams I put in guys are getting 60 more hp at the rear wheels. Stupid WYAIT stuff.

The service tech is on vacation this week so probably won't get much done while covering for her.

I had to fab a heat shield as the brake M/C are right above the headers. No x pipe with side pipes though.

Sounds like you are getting close and going by the rate of progress you should have it early 2017.

I hate it with a passion.

The offers to rent jets and yachts have stopped for now. I still get offers to help with my student loans and credit card offers.

It is interesting because all the users they want to send this specific Mail Chimp blast to are users that are already subscribed to our email discussion group. It is an invitation for our distributors to test our new web site. They want to use mail chimp to see how many of them go check out the new site. They are even having a drawing for a free BBQ dinner for the users that go check it out.

If I were doing this I would invite them using the regular mailing list to check out the site, giving them a link to a survey about the new site that would enter them in a drawing for free stuff. At least you would get some sort of feedback on the new site.

My parents both loved catalog shopping. They bought a lot of stuff from catalogs and they were getting 3 or 4 per day. My mom died 10 years ago and my dad died 3 years ago. I had his mail forwarded to my house after the funeral. I still get a few catalogs every week. I just put them right into the recycle bin. I get mail addressed to my dad from retirement places and nursing homes.

Mrs Carrera and I both got personal letters from Trump yesterday. Those went to the recycle bin as well along with all the other political crap I get.

Any political stuff goes in the recycle bin. I wouldn't want to taint the food.

Welp, off to my genius bar appointment. Need them to clean out the power cord slot again. My charge won't plug in no more.

Our garbage pickup is Wednesday and I forgot to take the cans out this morning so the dogs are sitting out waiting for the garbage truck to stop and it doesn't. They were very disappointed.

Guy just posted on the 928 board he got 3rd place open class at the Pikes Peak hill climb with his 928. This past spring he was pretty happy about getting officially clocked at over 200mph in the speed traps at one of the postal runs with the same car.

I'd be thrilled if mine would just make it to the store an back.

Goood Moorrninggg!!!

Add one waffle, a stick of butter, some maple syrup, and an
ice cold glass of milk and that would be a delicious breakfast!

After that I could eat low fat meals the rest of the day.
