Eva did not make it, sorry to say. Sort of dog you would strap to your chest and jump out of an airplane.

Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherd are a little smaller than a German Shepherd, both breeds had a good chance of not being separate breeds from German Shepherds about 80 years ago, because Adolf.

Took a peek at a local shelter's website and saw Mila, who is part Cattle Dog:

She arrived pregnant, and now she and several of her pups are available. Cute!

The Pups approve of the new kitchen remodel. Sure didn't take them long to learn where the treats are now kept.

This thread's 10-year anniversary was last month. Baz, thanks for introducing us to all these great friends...and the humans too.

This handsome fellow needs a home, he showed up at a friend's place and sadly, she isn't able to keep him. He is very friendly and super sweet, if I didn't have my cat colony, I would adopt him.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1657682963.jpg

So, placed any found ads? Not your average stray there. If I weren’t completely cross country I’d probably show him to my wife. Then with my other two pups it be like Oreo time.

I was sharing this song "Buy a Dog" by LUCE and noticed this was a video made by a fan. Pretty good!

Dinner table.... he just ate the twins for brunch :D

Steve Carlton 07-14-2022 03:02 PM

How do you cook them, or do you just put them in a bowl?

Seahawk 07-14-2022 03:09 PM

Afternoon roundy on the farm today. Osprey's remain skeptical.

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1657836412.jpg

Then a crane showed up and the Osprey's launched the Alert Fighter. Photo taken minutes apart.

Everybody hug your pups and give them lots of pets and scratches. Give them a special treat, today. We'll be making a trip, the last, to the vet in a couple of hours.

18 years is a great run.

Ouch.

Never easy.

We had a paw print made of our Red Heeler framed and it makes me happy when I see it. Just a suggestion.

All the best.

I feel your pain, Steve. I've got one turning 18 on Sept 9th and he's slowing down, stumbling, nearly blind and deaf, and spaced out. Just did some surgery, but had to think about if it was worthwhile and if he could tolerate it. It was a good choice, he's still a good eater and drinker. He's still an old soul that brings me joy. We're going day by day now. I wouldn't trade the 18 years I've had with Bodhi for anything.

syncroid 07-22-2022 01:46 PM

So sorry to hear this Steve.

masraum 07-22-2022 02:42 PM

Thanks all. It was peaceful. I was able to hold him the whole time while my wife petted, kissed, and spoke to him. This was the worst day since my dad passed 18 years ago.

Danimal16 07-22-2022 03:44 PM

Sorry for your pain. One of the hardest things in loving and being loved by a dog is giving them back.
I wish you a short grief and that the joyful memories are quick to sooth your loss.
Dan

Sadly, where he showed up, a very small community, Acre plus lots, pretty much everyone knows each other and the animals.

Seahawk 07-26-2022 06:21 AM

Lots of rain yesterday right around our dog walk time...the lightenening was the real issue and the Polaris has a metal cage on it:eek:

So I put the gate down on the LC and we went in and out of the rain.
