Heres a Bobby Carradine story. If memory serves me it was about 1985 or 86 at Riverside. The SSGT race had just started, and I see a white Corvette racecar driving under the underpass into the pit area. Hmm, shouldn't that guy be on the track?? Well, it seems that Bobby must have been running late, stopped at 7-11 or something, but he pulled up to the pre-grid and was let go after the other cars had almost completed a lap. Well, he did a nice job of working his way up. Don't remember his finishing position.

I also remember one day in my 914 1.7 getting my a-- handed to me from Laurel/Mul heading west by a guy on a H-D XR750. I'll never forget the way that sidedraft was pointing right at my face as he started on the left side of me. Then the thing just leaned waaayyy over into the corners and I couldn't catch him. The ridicule of being blown off by a Harley. Ahhh, not your average Melrose cruising Harley mind you. Could ol' Bobby have been taking an afternoon spin?

I like building things too. I guess we all have a surprise in the works somewhere.

So Kevin (Mr. Corvair Yenko Clone Scrufus Domesticus that spins backwards)
What is this Corvair in the background? Not too many made. Roof is notchback style. What can you tell us?

Too cool but I've never seen it before. It looks like someone did an ElCamino type roofline on it.

Aww crap, I would have come meet you guys last night. Actually I was in bed when you posted that. It's that work thing again. Well, Happy Belated B-Day Radu. I owe ya a beer.

You too Derek, you're like the father of the Mulholland thread.
