I've only traced mine as far back as Oklahoma! But, I'm know that is does go back to the old island as well.

Ok, my turn. I have always wanted a 911 since I was probably 5. It was my first poster on my wall, which was a black 81 sc targa. I have looked for a long time, and found just what I wanted, for the most part. The price was right, noone on this forum would have past it by. No rust whatsoever, A/C installed at the port (although compressor is missing) but most of all a targa. Needs a possible engine overhaul, but runs great after it runs for a minute. I added the fuchs off ebay, and another good deal. Here she is. 76 911s targa (my birth year)

Here is my 82 SC.
Coming along slowly but gets 22-25mpg and is a great work driver. Learned alot from the board, and have been saved by the classifieds.

My1st, congrats on your 1st! You might be surprised at the eventual desirability of your car. '76 is the first year of galvanized bodies (hence, no rust) and the last year before HEAVY smog control. So for those people in smog control states it is the perfect car to hot rod up! Way to go and welcome to Pelican!

'72 Targa

Here's my '72 Sepia Brown 911T. Original color, original engine with MFI, and original transmission. Just a great car.

Simply stunning car Scott!! You have to love those late 60's, early 70's Porsche colors.

She'll start thinking you've forgotten about her more and more as you get involved with your car.

Well... after being around here a while, I guess I better post a picture. She's a 1980 sc with 150k and receipts for everything. Definitely needs a repaint and alot of little things, but she runs like a top and is alot of fun....

Some pictures taken today at an autocross, three targas doing what they were made for! The first car is mine, the others belong to a couple friends of mine who are also here on Pelican.

Stunning car Jack! I love the black with red interior, that's an all time best color combination.
