That certainly doesn't imply that this was the first good weather. Heck, I rarely had my Targa top on.

As another local San Diegan I have to say that it has likely been 15 years since I had the top on! BTW, great looking car!

That's a great looking car. Is it still Peru Red? I always thought Peru Red was a non-metallic deep brick red color, with a lot of purple/blue in it.

Porsche Crest Targas

The first Porsche I ever saw was an orange 911 with a stainless targa bar (1970 or so?). Wow! I bought a ratty blue 914, painted it yellow and had fun. Now i have a 1987 silver 911 Targa and still love 'em.

That is from Maxell, advertising their cassette tapes, and from cassette tape days so pretty old, but every other year or so one shows up for sale here at Pelican,
