ECU Doctors has them and recommended Bosch part 0 261 204 376 with Driveblock removed. My research shows it’s for a Tiptronic 3.6. They said it should be an issue because the ECU can sense if it’s a Tip and a Tip has its own ECU.
Anyone know for sure if it’ll work ok with my 915? They said if there are any issues to send it back for up to five years and they’ll make whatever modifications that are necessary.

The original mg. /44 was better in this respect as it came stock w/ a steel girdle stabilizing the si/o shafts, I also went w/ a /67 for the trans cooling feature but recomens adding a steel girdle here too.

on a 55 pin DME I think that it is pin 44 that activates tip coding

Thank you both! Drives amazing but now I'm thinking it might be time to see what a modern Porsche race car is like. But sadly prices of modern GT3s are so insane that may never happen.

![]() trans is still #42 I think that you need #56 & 82 the tip has a different way to control idle from the manual, I think I recall a TPS and stepping motor on the throttle

Getting closer… soon to be IROC tribute. Hope to be running next week after ECU comes back from specialized ECU. Then off to paint, wife got to choose one of the IROC colors, she chose Magenta, will see if I can commit to it soon enough. 1982 chassis with 1989 930 turbo G50 torsion tube and trailing arms grafted in.

Congrats man! It's in there. Mine is tight like that too. Zero clearance on the vram to go higher.
Your fan scavenge thing is cool looking. Haven't seen that flavor yet. I heavily modified the rennline CF tube on mine but it leaks at the bottom where the exhaust side and it meet at the tin opening.

Any issue with your exhaust bottoming out on speed bumps? Thinking about raising the rear 10-15mm and trying to rotate the exhaust to get a bit more clearance before I just pull it all out and buy a new tin. I want to start this thing!

This is what my car looks like. It usually only scrapes on steep driveway transitions and the largest speed bumps.
