I'm thinking about this for my flamethrowing 930.

Why not have some fun with it? The car was made from a 1972 shell and castoffs from two years of folks upgrading perfectly good parts for newer, better, hotter what evers in my friends shop.

VP's are not good or bad per se, it depends on the message. There is a certain 'Look at me; I'm special' quotient about a VP to start with, but if the message is low key or cryptic, they're fine. It's only when I see FASTRNU or some such that I think 'WANKER'!

The best plate I've ever seen was here in CA (not on a Porsche). The fact that it was probably a complete accident made it even funnier. On a small mid 80's Toyota driven by a very fat girl: 2SHY469. Yes, I saw it with my own eyes...

In the immortal words of Eddie in Christmas Vacation ---

Oh, that uh, that there's an RV. Yeah, yeah, I borrowed it off a buddy of mine. He took my house, I took the RV. It's a good looking vehicle, ain't it?

Maybe not the "most creative"
BUT I got VERY creative with what I did with it

75 IXXIS

I scaned the plate and stickers.
Scaned an old blue plate to get the "California" and get the 3D effect.

The printed on card stock and laminated.

So I created a 70s blue plate

The #s still work in the DMV and not a single issue with the Poultice ... (yet)

Wyvern: If you're interested, there are places that make replica plates (out of steel). http://www.licenseplates.tv/

I have a '75 so I run copper Vintage Vehicle plates here in AZ. A friend has one on his cabriolet I think is classic. It's the Arizona "statute number for excessive speed" LOL He always gets a smile and a thumbs up from law enforcement...

NOT a personalized plate, characters mean nothing (that I can think of) but is the optional Idaho plate with the extra $15 a year going to the non-game wildlife fund, seem more appropriate than the usual "Famous Potatoes"

Too much?

Didn't realize what it would look like untill I put the plate on with the old license frame that surrounded my non-vanity plate.
