over past couple weeks doing some maintenance and other stuff returning to stock.

replacing the Boxster front calipers back to stock. bead blasted to clean and now to pop out pistons and rebuild.

now have a set of Boxster front calipers and brackets along with several sets of track pads with a lot of pad left for sale.

removed the front cooling ducting/hose, blast and paint the stock backing plates.

replaced both lower ball joints, both boots had splits.

and last but not least, several hours of fighting to get the tranny drain plug out. when initially trying to remove, a couple sides of the plug broke outward. so drill baby drill.......

flushed twice with hot oil and now ready for fresh swepco.

Looks like a stock tea tray to me.

Goya, welcome to PP. You out in Prairie Fire?

^Not entirely sure which rear wing it is, not sure if its a tea tray as it doesn't look exactly like what i've been finding on google for those.

Yeah I'm currently right next to prairie fire, but moving to Mission in a couple of weeks! Thanks for the welcome!

Looks like a normal '84-89 Carrera tail to me. Not a tea tray, those were on turbos, turbo looks and optional on later SCs.

Clean looking car. Congrats!

Pulled the transmission & flywheel on my 99 Carrera 4 so I can change the IMS bearing, dual mass flywheel, RMS, slave cylinder, throwout bearing and clutch and send the transmission to GBOX for refurbishment. (whining at 40 - 80mph).

An expensive day, but a lot cheaper than if someone else was doing the wrenching.

Goya, you gave me a start!
It looked like our car 2+ yrs ago. First glance, I thought it was ours and a hacker was posting her.
Since then, I have removed tail and installed Fuchs.
Welcome to the club!
