| G'day! |

Thanks for this photo, Skip. On my most recent carb rebuild, (an '84 not the '83 but same carbs) I didn't keep track of each carb's parts I was reusing - like the springs. Got in a hurry and messed up, so at some point considering another tear down to get everything sorted properly. In addition to the springs I think there are a couple other components that differ on the front carbs from the rears. Still researching it. Right now on the '84 I'm troubleshooting a starter issue. Will pull the lower radiator tomorrow and see what's going on.....

Nice one from a local car show last night. It was either restored a long time ago or it was in real nice original condition.

Sadly, I haven't done anything lately with it, still working on moving out of the warehouses and I have to take my mother for a heart procedure on Tuesday. Today, I went to visit a friend, You may remember, this is the friend I found right before my last birthday, his Son asked me to go out there with him today, I also visited some other friends while there.

Sorry you're in a rough patch Byron, they come and go in waves it seems. I've lost 2 brothers, 1 sister, both parents, both inlaw's and all my aunt's and uncles. I appreciate the better times just that much more now, all my living sibs are doing pretty good. I have a few photos of Brother Scott that I cherish- My Son's fist overnight adventure with him at (where else) Ross Lake Patiently teaching Aaron the finer points of rowing

Little visit to my buddy Steve's place, got in a dog 'fix' His son brought home a Corgi puppy, nextdoor neighbors also have a puppy about the same age... the Corgi thinks he's boss and is frustrated when others don't see it that way Milo is the most stick loving, water loving, toss something and I'll go get it pronto dog I've ever known.

Milo will hold a stick down low enough that Buster the Corgi can latch on and wrestle- But no, all sticks within view are Milo's. Went from an old Boeing surplus crate as a workbench base for the last 30 years to finally building what I want I'm pleased with it, the drawers are on 100 lb rated slides that glide in and out very smooth and I've still got one empty drawer

This fire had just gotten started on June 13th, we drove past it in crazy winds on our way over Washington Pass, emergency services were just getting on scene. We could see some neighbors there and what we thought was the family. News confirmed 6 people got out, one dog did not Wind storm blew down a branch taking out an electrical line causing the fire that burned the entire back side of the home. What a nightmare, not a great start to our 2 night getaway... And now for something completely different A year ago I bought and fitted a set of Vredesteins on my 72, it seemed to wander a lot and way way too rolly polly in the corners- Me no like. Bought and fitted a set of Michelin Primacy 3's... OH YES, my sports car is back! Looks nice enough, maybe he enjoys his career-

Good weather forecast, mid week, a boat that needs watering and a new GoPro 12 to fiddle with. Baker lake overnight it is! Shocked to see only one truck and trailer in the parking area- not sure where everybody is, but that's good with me! Launched and motored across the lake to free first come first serve campsites. Most of the camping areas accessible by car are on the west side of the lake, east side is hike in or boat in only and has the superior views of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan... that's an easy choice! You were warned Alpenglow went on and on, sunsets after 9 pm this time of year- its addictive! After it finally got truly dark I heard owls hooting to each other from opposite sides of the lake, saw bats out eating up the mosquitos and heard loons call now and then. I'm very pleased and impressed with the "star tracking video and images the GP12 can capture. Huge jump forward from my GP6. It's also got a "time warp" setting that's very smooth and resulted in some good lake traversing videos. Breakfast with a view

Something strange about that car. The paint looks to be in good shape, but the chrome is badly rusted and it has VW wheels. I’m guessing it’s a neglected old reproduction. It’s getting bad when even the repros are old enough to need a restoration.

Changed back up and T/S bulbs to LEDs. Way, way brighter! You can see the difference in the B/U lights… Turn signals… Both B/U lights… | ||

Had to replace grill. Added the new style Weber flat top insert. It’s much smoother than the old blackstone I just tossed.
