I think they messed up time a bit. Starbuck was in the baby farm maybe a few months before the colinization of New Caprica. Then a year passed from colinization to Cylon arrival in the season two finale. Then four months more to the season three premiere. Now add that all up and you have 1 1/2 year or maybe a little more. Given a 9 month gestation you'd have a 9 month old baby. Plus their two year old looks 3 1/2, but it's hard to get a 2 year old to memorize lines so I can forgive that one.
Plus Starbuck's husband (I forget his name) makes the comment that he would have been dead for 12 months if Starbuck hadn't come back for him. Well it had to be over 16 months because all that happened before the colinization of New Caprica. No big deal I guess, but my wife and I were trying to straighten timelines out after watching the premiere. I also thought it was lame how they show the ex-prez about to be shot at the end of the episode, and there she is in the next episode preview. At least keep us in suspense a little. |

Thoughts on the last episode?
Tigh's wife has finally been exposed for who she is. In last week's episode, when Adama was having coffee with Helo's Sharon, I kept thinking that he should tell her about her baby. Now it looks like this will cause problems... Predictions: Kara gets away and escapes, but is forced to leave Casey behind. D'anna finds the baby, but is killed almost immediately afterwards. (Thus prompting the Cylons to follow the humans again.) Gaida blows Baltars head off...and yet he persists...

While the plan is for Pegesus to meet the Galactica after Galactica's resue mission to New Caprica, it seems that Apollo has other plans - he's save Galactica by jumping to its aid over New Caprica. -Z-man.

Wierd. I see it listed all the time in the guide but I always blew it off thinking it was just another re-run of that tired old show with Lorne greene.
I had no idea there was a new series. If it's any good i'll check it out, but it will have to be a lot better than the old series, snoooooooze. |
