Got a r/c plane motor in some kind of translated english instructions. The adjustment instructions for it running either rich or lean were exactly the same. My guess is they copies the english for turning the adjustment screw and forgot to make the change word left to right.

We were boys, we looked at the instructions once to laugh, and threw em in the trash. I don't need no stinking instructions. And if someone is so stupid as to knot know how to adjust the lean rich mixture on the model airplane engine they did not matter anyway. We only ran they wide open, we did not have the fancy throttles that RC airplanes used, one speed, full ahead wide open!

Went to an R/C Formula 1 plane race. They were restricted to .40 sized engines. They also used surgicsl tubing as a pressurized fuel tank to force more fuel in so they would run faster and so the g-force of turning would not effect the mixture. They were very fast. in 200 ft they did not have time to come off knife edge for the next turn. Heard of one going out of control and hitting a chain link fence. The nose cone came off, went through, and killed a spectator that was behind the fence.
Still understand the fastest r/c planes are gliders despite the development of r/c jet engines.

Morning all. Its 39* out right now. Had 1.5 days of sun that almost made 70 over the weekend. I think tonight is cut the remaining tomatoes off the vine and scrap the plant for the winter.

We did that with the Durango. Best thing we ever did to that thing. the lighting is so much better. We got ours from TheRetrofitSource.com.
Does your GPS yell JEEFFFEERRYYY when you go someplace it doesn't like? I think fall is here. It is not raining and the temps are fall like for now. If it kept raining I was worried the house would float away and we are on a hill. On the way home last night there was a BMW parked in the ditch by our house. Seems they ran out of gas. I had some premium in a can for the mower so I topped them off. The driver then asked if he could turn around where he was and I said I would watch for traffic, or he could go 50 feet and us a turnaround there. He said OK, started the car and did a half u turn and drove into directly the bean field. The woman passenger got out and yelled at him that she was driving now. I am pretty sure there was a fair amount of alcohol involved. At least she got out of the bean field and down the road. There was a gas station 3 miles from where they were at no matte which way they went at the intersection. The $5 of gas was well worth the entertainment.

I always wondered why the “Ultimate Driving Machines” were frequently driven by knuckleheads.

I was remembering Jeff's little dune adventure with Sharon.
Jim, for a long time I thought a BMW would be awesome, and I still think an older one would be fun to drive. Maintenance however... This guy didn't keep the wheel turned, it was a 90* off the road romp through the soybeans. All I thought was Emily had the truck with the tow rope and I wasn't that hospitable to invite them in. At least they had good tire. Maybe even great tires. Oh, and it wasn't hitting on all cylinders. Driver, engine, passenger, take your pick.

It is 47 degrees outside this morning.
On Thursday night the local Porsche dealership is having the big introduction of the new 911. They asked the club for some guys to bring over some of the older models. My 911 is representing the G body 911 as a classic 911 body style. One of the funny bit of trivia, Porsche called that era of body the G body. My 1985 911 is white with a burgundy interior. My El Camino is one yer newer, but GM called it the G body and it too is white with a burgundy interior. Almost like theme or something. It was all just chance, with of course excellent taste is vehicles.
