Thanks Brent. Looks like there are quite a few Work from home O365 Administrator jobs. There were a couple that specifically requested someone in the Eastern Time Zone so they could be help desk too. I am central. Don't think a remote worker matters what time zone they are in.

Never really looked for a work from home "remote" job even though I have been working from home for over 13 years. Dont remember exactly when it was.

Been doing exchange since 2007 was new. Pre-O365. Migrated up to current O365 and Azure syncing with Active Directory.

With my health problems the remote 0365 admin is about all I can do besides going on Disability.

Yea, I can't imagine one time zone off would make much difference to a help desk. No major deal to be ready at 7:00 AM not 8:00 AM unless they are doing the graveyard shift.

Way back in 1998 when we moved into this house it was still the dial up days. On AT&T to get to the internet the fastest I could get was 38.8 and it was just the distance to the switching building. We changed to Cox digital and instantly I was at full speed on the modem. Way back then I set up several email addresses that I still use, and one for my wife. That worked fine for years. Then we got smart phones, and finally moved to Richard's email service with Exchange and all the devices synced. I just set up the old cox accounts to forward everything to the Exchange inbox.

Recently Cox has had some security issues. My wife's email password on Cox was hacked, and then they got into her Amazon account and ordered stuff. She was notified, called Amazon, they fixed it, and I had to call Cox to reset the password. We put in a pretty difficult password, and it was recently hacked. Now is a password that is stupid hard.

She NEVER logs into her Cox account, at all. It just forwards the email to her other account. I on rare occasions log in and empty the inbox. If it forwards and deletes their system thinks it is inactive, and closes that account.

I have three accounts with Cox, and I have never had an security issue. Just the wife's account gets hacked.

Morning all. I just got word that this year we are not required to get a physical at year end to get the better rate on health insurance. Something about all of us employees reporting their doc consider it non essential and not doing them. One person chimed in that he was not standing naked in his living room on a zoom meeting for the physical.

Yea, and not many folks will want to try a self prostate exam.

A pee test is easy enough but the blood sample is a bit much.

Glad they didn't even try a remote colonoscopy!

However, it did feel like they did it thru the nose when they did the covid test a couple of days before.

A couple of weeks ago my wife thought she might have the Wuhan flu. She has lost her sense of taste and smell, or it is greatly diminished. She knows that is one symptom.

She called the docs office and they did not want to see her at all, they just set up an appointment to get tested. She was negative, so I did not bother to get tested. Since we sleep a few inches apart, and live in the same house no way I have it and she does not. And I am totally symptom free.

you should be sleeping 6 feet apart at least. You know like they did in all those old black and white tv shows. Besides did you ask the boss if it was ok to sleep at all?

Last night on FB one of our former members of the group got a tad upset over a post I made. I think he will find himself deleted and blocked by the end of the week.

That is one way I get even with the mean boss, I sleep with his wife, and sometime a lot closer than a few inches apart!

I just updated my laptop and main computer the the latest Window 10. OS Build 19041.388 and the Windows Experience pack 120.2202.130.0

The one thing I like is the Intel Rapid Storage Technology that runs the internal Raid 5 no longer boots with the annoying error message. Before it told me that the driver was not there. The internet had some complex steps to get rid of the error message, and in the end just ignore the message, and everything works just fine. Now, no more silly error message to ignore!

I bet money the new version messed up my network sharing. I will likely have to set that up again. Windows just does not like to play nice anymore with peer to peer open sharing on a network.

Mornin all. Still looking for an IT guy, but have a few good candidates. Interviews start Thursday.

Wife's aunt just texted her, can they stay tonight with their RV, they will be there by 5:00? Well, we have a motorcycle trailer, the Durango, the in-law's Colorado, the Nissan and Steve the bright blue Avenger all parked where the RV would go because I have the Cobra and the minivan in the regular garage and the kayaks, lawn tractor and desk project in the other garage since I don't want to paint in the regular garage. That and we are both working. Might have to have the daughter and dad go play car tetris. Or take some to his house for now since we have the graduation party Saturday and need to move them there anyway.

I have been getting some ridiculous emails.

My "favorite" so far: We would like to feature you in our upcoming Special Edition as one of the "10 Best Entrepreneurs of 2020".

Ha ha ha ha ha. Yea, right. For only $1,200 they will list us in some publication. Any business that pays for that should immediately be considered the to 10 dumbest business on the planet.

We used to get a similar thing via FAX at the old office. They said we had been nominated to be in the Who's Who new edition. Once again all we had to do was send in money.

Yup. If the dirt bikes and kayaks weren't in the way I would have another spot for a car in the garage.

My mother on law's husband bought a new storage shed so he brought the old one over and set it up for us. I saw the 2x4s on the side going to the ground and assumed they were anchored in the ground. I was wrong and the wind blew it off the blocks he had it on. Glad we had not put the snow blower and mower in there yet.

The Colorado isn't ours fortunately. It is like a Playskool vehicle inside. I bet you could hose it out though.

Been getting an email that some ferin old lady has cancer and wants me to represent her in USA so she can tranfer $530 million. Returned that my unrefundable retainer for discussing of financial representation to discuss methods and percentages of cash transfers was $1 million US Dollars. And I looked forward to receiving the funds and working with them.

Another was a psychic. Wants me to pay for a reading. Replied that before I would invest in a reading she had to give me a specific event I would be involved in to get my attention.

For all the bad news got some good today.

Unemployement debit card finally has money on it. $9000 unemployment for 10 weeks after taxes.
That is about the same as my take home after taxes. Thank you for the extra 600 per month President Trump.

Also severence package is $73K before taxes. And 500/mo to continue healthcare with cobra.
Not quite a golden parachute but a heck of a lot better than nuthin.

Just start looking for new health insurance NOW. I suspect with no company group plan you will be shocked what it costs. That will likely be one of your biggest expenses in the coming years.
