what a day. Moms in the hospital, my favorite uncle passed this morning. Time to get out my tin foil hat and hide from the world I guess.

nope she just started complaining about an ache. CT scan found a bad section and they went in to cut it out. Doc said the whole section was dead.

Went thru a huge ordeal when I had 14" of my colon removed. Just that section was prone to diverticulitis. The first time I had to go to the restroom after the surgery the stupid nurse made me get up by myself. It ripped the inner stitches loose and got infected because of it. The doc had to rip open the incision and let it heal from the inside out. Spent two months at home on drugs with nurses coming by every day to debris the 10cm deep wound. Debris is a nice way of saying scrub the scabs off.

The nurse that made be get up by myself was also not giving me any pain meds. Kept telling me to grow up and tough it out. She was putting on my chart that I was taking them and taking them home. Because of my complaining my Mom and a friend from work stayed with me to make sure I actually got them. Because of me she got fired. If not I would have sued the hospital.

That year I remember Halloween night sitting in a hospital room in a bloodied white hospital gown. They wouldn't let me go trick or treating dern it.

Sorry David. I hope all works out for your Mom. My Mom has problem with her heart in that it is only running at 30%. Nothing they can do short of a transplant and that isn't going to happen.

Hope your mom recovers well David. We did this last year, mom went for the procedure where they put dye in and check the flow. They scheduled her for bypass surgery first thing in the morning. It was good it happened that way so she didn't have time to think about it.

I like that version Wayne. His voice reminds me of the guy from Crash Test Dummies.

While out at lunch time we pulled up at an red light and a POS old Buick with dents in every panel and dull paint with a door a different color that the rest of the car pulled up next to us. An African American gentleman driver had the volume cranked up to stupid loud. The "music" was something I think called RAP or crap one or the other.

The words were easy to hear with the volume very high. It was a chorus repeating over and over "I am a fukcing nigger yea I am fukcing nigger nigger nigger nigger. That lasted for the entire duration of the light.

I decided it would not be the proper etiquette to ask the gentleman so proud of his song that he played it for everybody "Hey fukcing nigger would you please lower the volume" I was assuming he was very proud of that title since he was sharing it with every person withing 100 yards and he was singing along with it.

cars should come with a universal mute button. Kill everything with in a certain range over a certain volume. that way no ear trash.

Harley need that mute button even more.

Yesterday I saw a Harley dresser that the rider was a certified Chrome-alohic. It has geegaws and doodads all over it. He had he radio up loud enough to hear it over the obnoxious BLAT BLAT BLAT of the exhaust. It is a shame I can't lock him and the African American gentleman inside a small warehouse and let them fight to the death for the honor of most obnoxious person since Michael Moore or Rosie O'Donnell.

Since all but the projector came for the dry fire training we set some targets on the wall and did some silhouettes and shoot to score and timed draw stuff. My wife even tried it. She shot a 6,7,8,9,10 so we thought we should play for poker hands after that. We did the timed draw with 3 shots on the 3.5" target from 14'. It is odd with no recoil but you can tell when some don't have a lot of experience and shoot and the split second the laser lights that it goes all over the target. The projector should be at the house tomorrow then we can do interactive targets! So far with the snap caps, laser and projector we are in it for $270 since we already had a camera and a computer or two around.

Oh, on the draw thing, mom used to be a pretty good shot with a revolver but she isn't active any more so the timer timed out before she got 3 shots on. Dad did well at 3.53 seconds. If there was recoil times would be higher.

Rap is not music. Just because their are repetitive noises with someone yelling attempted rhymes and chicks twerking does not make it music.
