930 S question

I am looking at a 1987 grey market 930 S with the following option codes....C00,058,139,220,340,383,387,528,533,567,6 50......I have found all of the codes except 528,533,567....can anyone help?
Also is there any other ways to determine if this car is a special wishes car or an aftermarket or dealer installed slant? There is a stainless steel plate riveted inside the trunk with the VIN and other numbers .....some of which I cannot read from the photo....any help will be appreciated....thanks

Thought I'd share a couple of new pics from a photo shoot I had taken by our club photographer Blake Blakely. A picture or two might make the next edition of 9Magazine.

Hope you all like...

Look great... and I hope to see it in "9Magaine"!!!

It seem to get only every second issue (once every 4 months)

Look like I share my subscription with someone in New Zealand

When I got my last one, I peel back the shipping label (in my name) and find someone else name and address printed on the magazine itself.

Were body color Fuchs standard on slant nose 930s?

Just curious, were body color Fuchs wheels standard on all slant-nose 930s?. A friend has an original 1988 red/tan slantnose with red fuchs wheels. The window sticker does not indicate anything about the wheels being monochromatic so it appears that was the standard color.

Black wheels were standard back then- you could order White or Platinum from the factory- at Brumos we used to paint them to match the exterior.

Guard red or black Fuchs wheels - which look best?

What does this group think looks best on a guards red/tan slant-nose coupe, red Fuchs or black?

I have a factory red/tan 87 slantnose with the optional BBS RS red painted centers.

I like the Fuchs painted red on the red car. I may get get a spare set of wheels for it and do that.

I have a set of 17" Ruf wheels that I will eventually use on it also and store the BBS wheels away, since it was ordered with them.

Good luck on the choice you make. Hard decisions sometimes...haha

I have not seen any special wishes slant pop up in a while. THere was a silver one in Los Angeles I believe a number of months ago for sale. don't know if it was special wishes but it looked correct. If I find the website I will forward it on.

I don't know what thread you are talking about that is running down. There have been 11 posts in the last 3 days.

We are just getting started.

Have a great time at the factory.

This dealer had a '85 Black/Black S with a lot of interesting factory options. I looked at the car in October but the seller and I couldn't reach an agreement on the price. It just recently disappeared off the website, you may want to call (eddy?) and see if the owner kept it for himself. Good Luck.

Sonderwunsch 930 S

Just received my 1987 Sonderwunsch 930 Slantnose.....I have been looking for several months and found this car in the midwest. It is a factory (confirmed by email from Porsche...and several identifying characteristics) car that was ordered and purchased by an active military in Germany and then brought back to the US. A collector bought the car and I bought it from his estate. The car is in excellent condition with 42k original miles. It has a few options that were interesting.... 1. An all leather interior in camel which is in very good condition 2. The power package option which includes the 330 bhp engine with the larger intercooler and dual exhaust 3. Recaro seats 4. LED boost gauge
I will be taking it to my mechanic next week for a thorough check up and check on the AC which may need to be replaced or modified. It is in need of shocks, a steering bushing and of course an oil change. Thanks to all those who helped me on this board. It was difficult at first to be certain that this car was indeed factory but with a few well made connections we found out that it indeed is a factory car......
