We made a trip up to the North Carolina Mountain's last month. Here's a photo of my '87 Summer Yellow Carrera. Photo taken in front of the Gates of Grandfather Mountain it was rainy and foggy all day. We had over 50 Porsche's from the Orlando and Jacksonville PCA clubs that made a four day trip. I had the only "Air-Cooled" Porsche on the trip. No problems except my newly converted 134 A/C system leaked most of the Freon out the new adapter fittings the A/C shop installed. I tightened the low side fitting over a full turn !!! Why I can't trust people to do what they are paid to do !!!

Not to be picky, but the factory did make a handful of cars with welded in roofs, like the 916 prototype. Still, I like your style…

I went back to the original sized tbars and sport shocks with adjustable sways. Works very well on my light car. Here is a pict after she was repainted:

Yes, true. I was just referring to the 914 only. I know the 916, but it was a different car and though it was supposed to, it never did go into production. Too bad... :/
