We have another rainy day in the forecast. I don't mind rain because it never needs to be shoveled off of my driveway. I am a charter member of the Ricky's we hate frozen water and S*** club.

They had a story on the news last night about someone that hired a bad engineer or no structural engineer. He built a house to be tornado proof or highly resistant. It was just a A frame made of concrete panels tied together with massive steel beams. It would have been good in the zombie Apocalypse. The problem was the house was so rigid that a minor little earthquake has totaled the house. It is the first house in Oklahoma on record to be totaled by an earthquake. The house was so rigid that it could not move without breaking like an egg shell. It was an ugly house anyway.

A friend of mine married a nice enough lady, but she is even crazier than the average female. She has a extreme fear tornadoes. They ended up building a really neat mostly underground house. It is built into the side of a hill. He just mows he roof. Never has to worry at all about hail. It has steel shutters that roll out of wall like a aircraft hangar. They test them but have never had to close them. It too would be a good house for when the zombies come. Personally I am not very worried about zombies.

A friend of ours has a partial earth home. Says it is well insulated that way but it doesn't have much natural light.

This would be a non-starter for me and my wife. Open and bright are two of our most important criteria for a house.

Arizona's a BIG state; the northern part of the state and parts of the southeast (where I live) get pretty damn cold. We've been in the 40's and kinda rainy most of this week No snow, yet, though.

I know there are parts, but not where he lives. As I said, I have been through Flagstaff in the spring and it gets cold there. The Phoenix area is similar to where I lived in the Imperial Valley. It doesn't get cold there. Ever.

We lived with several earthquakes a week there. Most times you couldn't tell the difference between a truck and the earth doing it on its own. I mostly watched the people that grew up there and if they panicked, I know something was up.

Holy crashed computer day.
Now I have to figure out all my passwords for all the places I go.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I had to break out the back up laptop from work since my other unit has failed.

We're supposed to get close to 80 degrees today. That's certainly NOT November weather. But, you won't hear me complaining!

It is Monterey style weather here. 45 degrees at sun up and 63 for a high and clear blue skies. I like it. ANd I am still in shorts in November!

I get a lot of spam. Most of it goes right in the spam box but a lot still gets through. For so many years almost all spam was about making certain body parts bigger. Those have gone away but and replaced with BS about gift cards about to expire.

Some of the spams are downright funny. One of them said someone had recently accessed and read my arrest report. That is going to be a very short report that is a real quick and easy read. Much like my book with all the hard proof on UFOs and Bigfoot.

My new favorite is this one:

Register for this webinar to see how Orbital ATK used computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and multiphysics simulation for their solid rocket motor propulsion systems design.

I had to open it just to feel like I must be real smart if someone sent me that.

Of course it was next to one about some Dr. Oz brain pill to make me smarter so I guess maybe the spammers think I am stupid after all.

They should just ban the IP ranges of serial spammers.

They should launch an anti-spam Terminator on the spammer. Kill the spammer, his family and friends and destroy all his equipment and burn down the building and his house and steal his car. If he has a dog, the dog lives but gets a new owner.

Let the dog eat his old master?

We could just tip the Russians that the spammer is plotting a terrorist act against Russia.

Well, I got another message that was marked as spam but I think it MUST be true.

I have been selected as a finalist as a 2015 woman of distinction! Take that Bruce Jenner.

Evidently Obama is covering up the cure to cancer and it has something to do with ancient medicine. If I just open that message I can learn all about it.
