After painting the exhaust and doing and adjusting the ride hight from the first test drive, it was time for a second... I am looking for a chrome grill, but my dad had a black one on shelf, and it does actually look pretty good

After installing larger throttle bodies and headers, the idle is way too high and it doesn't pull right untill 3.000 rpm, so still lots of adjustments to do...

Thanks, guys

Still a lot to do. But know the car is running and able to drive. I can't wait to get an alignment, corner weighing and adjustment of the MFI...

Thanks, guys!

Putting on a 73 RS-style door side and making it look good takes a lot of time and work!

Time for at little update.

I used the fall to testdrive the car. I got the suspension dialed in and corner balanced. The car drives better than ever now. It is very neutral and almost impossible to get the tail to break loose in dry weather

Since I took so much weight of the front end, the car is very light in the steering once it reaches 100 miles an hour though...

The engine was a bit of a pain to get to run properly as it showed and in the proces of finding out why, we discovered that the pressure plate was loose, so a new one and a new clutch went in...

Finaly it showed that I needed to get my MFI pump rebuild. And that was a good choice as the pump was never calibrated for a 3 liter engine and generally needed a rebuild. I had it made exactly for my engines specs, and now it pulls like a train!

Here are some pictures from this spring:

Just picked the car up from the mechanic:

Happy owner on the way home

A quick stop for some pictues

And back in the garage

A trackday in Sweden was coming up, so it was time for some final testing...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Quqq-3do6NA

Noisy... But too noisy, that was the question...

Making sure everything is tight

Crosing the bridge

Finding another 911

Got there and passed the noise check

Lots of nice Porsches

A trip around the track - sorry for the hand held camera
