It seems that what he actually meant to say was that he "invented" the idea of rerouting the high side refrigerant flow path, the front lid condenser first, then to the rear lid condenser and then to the dryer. His claim was that this technique improved the refrigerant condensing efficiency substantially, well enough to justify the expense. No qualifying of the exact or approximate level of improvement was ever offered, as was the case of an engineering explanation for the gain, insofar as I am aware. My own measurement of CSA airflow for the 2 condensers seems to put the lie to his "invention". Even at idle the rear lid condenser gets a higher level of cooling airflow, and the equation gets worse with rising engine RPM. "Throw" in his "improved" PFC front lip condenser and matters get ever worse, as the new condenser actually BLOCKS(***) forward motion cooling airflow whereas the factory condenser takes advantage of this effect. *** As is the case with ALL aftermarket front lip condensers... PUZZLING, EXTREMELY so.

I wish him well, but we may as well wait for Gilles to give us actual data or at least impressions. Good luck, Dave

YES THIS REMOVES MASSIVE HEAT from the front PFC Gills does NOT have this initially BUT IF HE WANTS ICECOLD911 @ 100 F plus ambient he will discover his OEM front blower ain't going to cut it! AND NEEDS SOMETHING LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!! Last edited by KelogGes; 05-11-2016 at 06:27 AM..

Thanks, Reid. Please clarify. My image is that you have a big honking front condenser and fan assembly that dumps a lot of heat, first. Then you have a very efficient rear PF condenser. You use an orifice valve and accumulator too. Besides control and air distribution, what am I missing? Dave

Hi Reid, I did include the reversed gas flow, by saying you send to front condenser first, then rear condenser. That's the only reversal isn't it? Thanks, Dave

There is basically no noticeable engine oil temp increase when the a/c is turned or off With my design The OEM A/C Design greatly increases oil temp when the a/c is on as ambient temperatures increase Last edited by KelogGes; 05-11-2016 at 08:30 AM..

So, when Reid says "your thinking is wrong" he really means "you are 100% correct and understand this perfectly", just as when he says "invented" he means "didn't invent at all". See? He makes perfect sense, once you put his posts through the Spiderman Decoder Ring.
